The role of the SEO Executive is to define the agencies and their clients SEO Campaign Strategy; to manage the communication & execution, end to end, across all phases of the campaign lifecycle; to nurture & manage existing clients, increase adoption, revenue and retention; whilst providing a superior customer experience.

 

Main duties include, but not limited to:

  • Effectively manage multiple clients & their campaigns to deliver results against the clients goals & objectives
  • Create strategy, analyse performance, review plans, make suggestions/recommendations & implement tasks/actions
  • Create, review and modify SEO strategy based on performance
  • Undertake analysis of data for reporting purposes
  • Detailed reports on campaign performance
  • Making recommendations to clients on improving their SEO plan/strategy
  • Making recommendations to internal teams on how to maximise campaign performance
  • Execute architecture, content & backlink audits – discussing with internal & offshore teams & clients
  • Managing the outsource team to deliver the tasks & activity needed to deliver the against the clients goals & objectives
  • Working directly with clients & colleagues in planning and implementing SEO campaigns & supporting wider digital marketing strategies
  • Investigating any traffic or lead drops and proposing projects to improve the website
  • Accurate representation of your client’s interests in the business
  • Research & implement new SEO ideas, initiatives and best practices
  • Regularly perform thorough keywords research to identify new opportunities for
  • Using research skills to find background information to prepare for briefs/pitches/presentations
  • Attend meetings with clients to maintain relationships and show you are dedicated to helping them
  • Update internal business software (Basecamp, Hubspot) in regard to workload updates, priorities, queries and recording client communication
  • Prioritise workload to deliver KPI’s and objectives as required
  • Suggest improvements for process and productivity efficiencies
  • Carry out any tasks or additional duties as required/commensurate with the role

  • Lives & breathes SEO, link building & digital marketing
  • Excellent understanding of SEO content, creation, outreach/link building & keyword research
  • Technical thinker who enjoys keeping up with Google’s ever-changing algorithm
  • Details obsessed with strong numerical & analytical skills
  • Experience in managing, advising & consulting multiple clients and working to tight deadlines
  • Ability to explain complex data/process/ideas/strategies in simplified terms at all customer levels
  • Ability to analyse and report data using the findings to adjust strategy – this includes large amounts of data in Excel & Google sheets
  • Measure the success of a campaign & evaluate a client’s ROI via monthly reports, data to highlight key trends/issues in their SEO, actions needed/taken
  • Create & conduct extensive Audits on client, & prospective clients, website covering all key areas of SEO including keyword density & relevance
  • Ability to deliver results to a target ROI
  • Thorough knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Data Studio & associated SEO tools such as SEM Rush, Screamingfrog, Majestic etc
  • CMS experience such as WordPress, Joomla etc
  • Natural at building relationships with clients
  • Fantastic written & verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational & project management skills
  • Continual learning and development to stay up to date on digital marketing trends
  • Knowledge of Google Adwords is preferred
  • Ability to copy-write for online content & landing pages is preferred
