Research, draft and write compelling copy that finds the perfect words to communicate what we want to say, where we want to say it, when and for the right purpose. We want to improve health outcomes through brilliant creativity, and words are a critical way we aim to achieve this.

Job accountabilities:

  • Champion of the written word and responsible for all written content within our business
  • Identifying copy requirements working with clients and the wider agency team
  • Researching and validating source materials and data to ensure our content is factually based, current and well-informed
  • Write compelling short, medium and long form copy across the spectrum of health and medical marketing communications
  • Capture and protect the voice of the brands you work on, applying the appropriate tone of voice and messaging structure each time
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to manage copy feedback quickly and efficiently, ensuring all comments are discussed and responded to
  • Proofread all copy to ensure excellence in execution at all times
  • Raise the profile of copywriting as a creative capability internally and externally
  • Live and breathe the world of health and marketing, keeping up to date with the latest news and marketing techniques for blog articles
  • Create compelling campaigns that answer the client’s brief and push our reputation for creativity (working solo or teaming with an art director)
  • Positively contribute to our culture and help grow our employee value

Essential

Considerable experience in:

  • A marketing agency/communications environment
  • Proven experience writing commercial / marketing copy
  • Broad writing experience across concepts, scripts, white papers, articles, web content, blog posts, press ads, banner ads, DM and brochure writing, social media content and other typical marketing agency outputs

Desirable

  • Health marketing interest
  • Journalist background
  • Medical/Health PR background
  • Understanding of brand and marketing strategy
